On the 19th October 2014 the Cancer Research Charity Ball opened its
doors at Tewin Bury Farm. It is both amazing and greatly satisfying to
us, the organisers, that some 260 people returned yet again to support
us and generously donate towards our chosen charity. The support of all
of you has made this night another massive success, once again raising
in excess of £15,000 for such a good cause. The evening began with
pre-dinner drinks and the ordering of wine for the meal whilst being
both amazed and entertained by Sam Strange, the award-winning
close-hand magician and his colleague.
On entering the main hall there was an opportunity to view the incredible raffle prizes which included a wide screen LCD TV, a Mountain Bike, a Sony Playstation package and many more wonderful items. Guests then took their seats for a sumptuous three course meal followed by entertainment from our comedian of the evening, ‘Ian Stone’. Next came the auction which saw items such as a romantic Valentine Weekend package, holiday villa, ‘Star for a night’ and various signed memorabilia, go for some incredible amounts.

After the announcement of the successful raffle numbers it was time to take to the floor to the sounds of the fabulous Grand Central band to dance the night away and party to 1.00am.The evening culminated with the winner of the auction item ‘Star for a night’ singing with the band.
The evening was a huge success according to the positive feedback and smiles received from those who attended . This was much appreciated and yet again made all the hard work worthwhile.
Finally we would like to thank everyone who contributed so generously to help make the event such a success and ultimately raise such a fantastic amount for such a wonderful charity.

See you in 2017
