Hertfordshire Charity Dinner Dance
Adrian Barry
It simply started out as an idea between 3 friends, back in 2003. The one-off party was aimed at having fun whilst raising a little money for charity. It has since grown to be one of North Hertfordshire's most popular charity events on the annual social calendar. The event is now proud to be raising tens of thousands of pounds for charity.
The Dinner Dance in aid of Cancer Research UK, now with 4 organising members, brings a night of fun and enjoyment to over 300 guests. The event breaks the standard mould of the traditional black tie dinner dance; inviting comedians and magicians for after dinner entertainment, spectacular charity auctions and raffles, alongside live music until late.
There have been a number of venues over the years, but it became apparent that holding the event at Tewinbury Farm Hotel was the perfect location.
All proceeds raised on the night go to Cancer Research UK, the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through extensive research. It is a charity close to the organisers' hearts and they believe such a worthy cause, which is what drives them to spending their spare time organising this event.
So why not take a look and join us for a night of fun and laughter, whilst making a real difference.
