Back again for 2017... This year’s event will once again be held in the Meadow Barn. This beautiful barn is set within the grounds of Tewinbury Farm Hotel and has direct access to the wonderfully landscaped gardens along the Mimram River. This large venue is completely self contained offering a fantastic bar, large dining/dance floor area, toilet facilities, cloakroom and a covered entrance, which can be accessed directly by transport. 

After you have had the opportunity of a quick 'guest photograph' to be taken of you and/or your party upon arrival, you can begin the evening with a relaxing drink from the bar. The night will begin with a ‘silver served’ three course meal followed by tea and coffee. Before dinner and in between courses you will be entertained by the reknowned TV star Alan Hudson and Trixta as they perform first class slight of hand magic.

After dinner and over coffee, you will be entertained by this year’s chosen guest after-dinner speaker. Last time, comedian 'Tim Clark' performed an hilarious, if sometimes risqué routine, which had the crowd shouting for more. After the laughter has died down, it's time to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is your chance to bid on a number of items in our auction and feel that, as well as the pleasure of taking ownership of the item itself, are you helping to raise money for this very worthwhile cause. The charity auction will then be followed by the charity raffle which includes a number of great prizes; all kindly donated by local companies and our sponsors.

After all of this excitement, the night is not over, as the spectacular live band will strike up to take you dancing into the early hours of the morning. What more could you want from a night out?

Due to the demand of this year’s event, we are running a 'First Come, First Served' allocation process. Tickets are priced at £600 per table (tables of ten) and can be paid by bank transfer, cash or cheques made payable to 'Cancer Research Dinner Dance'.
